Defendant David Allen Raley was convicted by a jury of first degree murder (Pen. Code, § 187) 1 of Jeanine G., with personal use of a deadly weapon (§ 12022, subd. (b)). The jury found true two special circumstance allegations: murder in the commission of a kidnapping (§ 190.2, subd. (a)(17)(ii)), and torture murder (§ 190.2, subd. (a)(18)). The jury also found defendant guilty of attempted murder of Laurie M. (§§ 664,187), and found true allegations defendant personally used a deadly weapon and inflicted great bodily injury.
