Tbe plaintiff instituted tbis action to recover from tbe defendant tbe sum of $25,000 damages for injuries alleged to bave been by bim sustained while in tbe employ of tbe defendant railway company by reason of tbe negligence of a fellow employee in tbe process of lifting a railroad rail wben engaged in unloading railroad rails from a pusb-car. Upon issue joined tbe cause was submitted to a jury, wbicb returned a general verdict in plaintiff’s favor for tbe sum of $6,000, with interest thereon from July 28, 1927, and made answer to fonr special interrogatories submitted to it, three of which…
