The petitioner, who is 56 years old and was admitted to the bar of this State in 1955, was suspended from the practice of law in 1966 for 3 years for the solicitation of personal injury cases and for payments made to informants. (35 Ill. 2d 454.) In November 1969, he was disbarred by this court. (43 Ill. 2d 262.) The disbarment resulted from his solicitation of personal injury cases, the solicitation having occurred while the first disciplinary proceeding was pending before this court.
