PRELIMINARY STATEMENT

Plaintiff Jill Brusso (“Brusso”) has brought this action to recover for injuries sustained in an automobile accident. Her husband, Wayne Brusso, has also sued for loss of consortium. Plaintiffs originally filed the complaint in New York State Supreme Court. Defendants thereafter removed the action to federal court, invoking diversity of citizenship jurisdiction under 28 U.S.C. § 1441. (Docket # 1).
