This appeal, by plaintiff, attacks portions of a separate maintenance decree entered in the circuit court of Cook county on January 5, 1938. The complaint was filed on May 21, 1936, and the pertinent allegations thereof are that the parties were married at Chicago on October 29, 1927; that they cohabited as husband and wife until January 31, 1936; that no children were born of the marriage; that on January 31, 1936, defendant left and absented himself from plaintiff, who was without fault; that at the time of the filing of the…
