OPINION

FROEB, Judge.

This is a review of the decision of .the Industrial Commission which denied a claim for permanent disability benefits. As we have decided the case on jurisdictional grounds, only a brief summary of the facts is necessary.

On February 9, 1975, petitioner and a fellow worker were engaged in cutting pipe as employees of Hecla Mining Company, the defendant employer. While carrying a section of pipe, petitioner slipped and fell, twisting his back.
