HAWTHORNE, Justice.

This suit was instituted by Sidney L. Hebert to recover damages for personal injuries sustained as a result of his being struck by an automobile driven by defendant, Christian Meibaum.

The district court rendered judgment against defendant and his insurer, United States Casualty Company, and in favor of plaintiff in the sum of $7958.94. On appeal to the Court of Appeal, Parish of Orleans, this judgment was amended by reducing the amount, awarded to plaintiff to $7310.14, and, as thus amended, was affirmed. 17 So.2d 750.
