1Opinion of the CourtIreland, J.

Lumbermens Mutual Casualty Company (Lumbermens) appeals from a final judgment of the Superior Court which grants the defendant, Nancy Malacaria, declaratory relief under two automobile insurance policies issued by Lumbermens to her and to the defendant, Frank P. Malacaria, and which confirms an arbitration award dated *185November 9, 1987, in Nancy Malacaria’s favor. Lumbermens also appeals from the allowance of the defendants’ motion for reconsideration which vacated an earlier summary judgment entered in November, 1989, in Lumbermens’ favor.
