I. Preliminary Statement

This dispute draws into question the ability of a Chapter 13 debtor to utilize 11 U.S.C. § 1322(c)(2)1 to modify the payment of a secured claim that arises from the type of consumer financing known as a “reverse mortgage”. For the reasons explained below, the Court concludes that such modification is permitted by that subsection of the Code.…
