MEMORANDUM OPINION

DOWD, District Judge.

I. INTRODUCTION

On January 28, 1986, plaintiffs Arthur J. Bellamy, Grady L. Shaver III, and George Walcott filed the present action against the defendants Roadway Express, Inc., (“Roadway”) and International Brotherhood of Teamsters, Chauffeurs, Warehousemen and Helpers of America (“IBT”). Alleging breach of a collective bargaining agreement, plaintiffs invoked the jurisdiction of this Court under § 301 of the Labor Management Relations Act, 29 U.S.C. § 185.
