People v. Lasso

—Judgment, Supreme Court, New York County (Bonnie Wittner, J.), rendered April I, 1996, convicting defendant, after a jury trial, of criminal sale of a controlled substance in the first degree and conspiracy in the second degree, and sentencing him to concurrent prison terms of 15 years to life and SVs to 25 years, respectively, unanimously affirmed.

The verdict was based on legally sufficient evidence and was not against the weight of the evidence. There was ample evidence connecting defendant to each of the crimes of which he was convicted. We see no reason to disturb the jury’s…
