This cause is here upon appeal from a judgment of conviction in the St. Louis Court of Criminal Correction. This criminal prosecution is predicated upon an information by the prosecuting attorney of the St. Louis Court of Criminal Correction, duly verified as provided by law and thus charges the offense:
