This was an action brought by the appellants to cancel and set aside a certain assessment lien, and to quiet title to real estate, freeing it from the effect of said lien, levied by the board of public works of appellee city of Gary against said real estate for the purpose of defraying its proportion of the cost of construction of a certain sewer within said city.
