This is an action brought in the District Court for breach of contract. The trial judge found for the defendant. The Appellate Division of that court reversed the finding and ordered the entry of judgment for the plaintiff in the sum of $500 in accordance with a stipulation of the parties. The case is here on the defendant’s appeal.

The plaintiff alleges in its declaration that the defendant had “refused to permit the plaintiff to perform” and had “refused to perform the defendant’s obligations” under a written contract. The contract consists of an order form for doors “sold to” New England…
