It appears that V. Spoto, P. Spoto and S. Spoto owners of Lot One, Block 78 Ybor City, contracted in writing on June 8, 1914, with Parrish & Goin, copartners, that the latter should on or before October 8, 1914, erect, finish and deliver a building of stated specifications on the lot for $16,250.00, the contractors to furnish all material and labor; that to secure the performance of the contract by Parrish & Goin and for the protection of the owners of the lot and others referred to in the instrument, a bond in the penal sum of $8,500.00 was executed June 8, 1914, by Thomas S.
