YEAGLEY, Associate Judge:

This is an appeal from an order of the Chief Judge of the Superior Court ordering the extradition of the appellant to the State of Maryland in accordance with the new provisions for extradition in the D.C. Code. 1

Appellant had been arrested on August 24, 1971 on a warrant charging him with being a fugitive from justice from the State of Maryland where he was wanted to answer to a charge of robbery with a dangerous weapon.
