OPINION
CADENA, Chief Justice.
In this medical malpractice suit the plaintiff, Jerry B. Baker, appeals from the action of the trial court in instructing a verdict in favor of the defendant, Dr. Jim L. Story.
Plaintiff was injured when he was shot in the leg. After pain persisted for several months he was examined by Dr. Charles Miller, who diagnosed his condition as caus-algia, or pain resulting from damage to a nerve.
