BACKGROUND

On June 30, 1998, Plaintiffs Pedro R. Riopta and Peter Riopta (“Plaintiffs”) filed the instant case against Defendant Amres-co Residential Mortgages Corporation (“Amreseo”) claiming violations of the Truth In Lending Act (“TILA”). On March 30, 1999, Amreseo filed a third-party complaint against First Hawaii Title Corporation (“First Hawaii”) and its escrow agent Toni Moore (“Moore”), as well as against Creative Mortgage and its agent Shelly Cox (“Cox”).
