The plaintiff, Ana Lapera, brings this lawsuit against her former employer, the Federal National Mortgage Association (“Fannie Mae”), alleging race discrimination in violation of the Civil Rights Act, 42 U.S.C. § 1981, and age, race, and personal-appearance discrimination in violation of the D.C. Human Rights Act (“DCHRA”), D.C. Code Ann. § 2-1401 et seq. Compl. ¶¶ 1, 4, ECF No. 1-1.
