The plaintiff, who was a teacher in the public schools of the city of Portland for about 26 years, commenced this mandamus proceeding to compel payment Of a certain annuity alleged to have been due her on retirement from the service on February 1, 1938. Plaintiff also demands that $929.32 be paid to her from the teachers’ retirement fund as such sum represents the amount credited to her account in excess of that required for her annuity.
