This is a petition for a writ of habeas corpus brought by Ray Story wherein he complains that he is restrained of his liberty and unlawfully imprisoned at the Oklahoma State Penitentiary at McAlester, Oklahoma, by C. P. Burford, warden of said penitentiary.
That the cause of said restraint is the judgment and order of commitment entered by the district court of Love county, Oklahoma, made and entered on December 22, 1945 on the petitioner’s plea of guilty to the charge of rape, wherein it was adjudged that the petitioner should be confined in the State Penitentiary for a term of 99 years, and…
