Christ Bauman was indicted for murder in violation of section 9 — 1 of the Criminal Code. (Ill. Rev. Stat. 1973, eh. 38, par. 9 — 1.) Defendánt was found guilty at a bench trial and sentenced to a term of not less, than 14 years and not more than 14 years and one day.
