The defendant, George Gibson, entered a plea of guilty in the circuit court of Du Page County to an indictment charging him with the crime of burglary and was sentenced to the penitentiary for a term of not less than 4 nor more than 7 years. He filed a petition under the Post-Conviction Hearing Act and, after an evidentiary hearing, the petition was denied. He has appealed directly to this court from the post-conviction judgment.
