The plaintiff, while travelling along the sidewalk in front of the defendant’s premises, in Worcester, at about 10:30 o’clock on the morning of February 5, 1936, slipped upon ice and received injuries for which the jury awarded her damages; the judge, in accordance with leave reserved, thereafter ordered the entry of a verdict for the defendant, subject to the plaintiff’s exception.
