The record shows, among other things, that defendants in error who, for convenience, I will call plaintiffs, sued plaintiff in error who, for the same reason, I will call *366defendant, as indorser on a promissory note for $4,496.66, executed by Lawton-Simpson Company, a corporation, payable to plaintiffs.
