Parker, J. —

The plaintiff, Wilson, seeks recovery of damages suffered by him in the death of his minor son, claimed as the result of the negligent driving of an automobile by the defendant Melvin Maxwell, as an employee and servant of the defendant printing company. A trial upon the merits in the superior court for King county, sitting with a jury, resulted in verdict and judgment awarding to plaintiff recovery against both defendants, from which the defendant printing company has appealed to this court.
