This is. a suit brought by the appellees to enjoin the Attorney General of California and the Districts Attorney of Santa Clara County from instituting any proceedings to enforce the California Alien Land Law 1 against them.
O’Brien is a citizen and resident of California, and owns ten acres of agricultural land in the county of Santa Clara. Inouye is a capable farmer, and is a Japanese subject living in California.
