On or about May 16, 1996, the plaintiff, Sergei Khramtsov (“Khramtsov”), brought this action in Boston Municipal Court against the defendants, Christopher Wright (“Wright"), Patrick Douglas (“Douglas”) and Alamo Rent-A-Car (“Alamo”), arising out of injuries he suffered on December 25, 1993, when an Alamo rental car driven by Wright and rented by Douglas collided with Khramtsov’s taxicab on Blue Hill Avenue in Dorchester.
