In the Common Pleas Court of Wayne county, Mr. Maloney sued Mr. Boyer to recover a commission for the sale of real estate, and Mr. Boyer, by cross-petition, sought a large amount of damages for claimed deceit and fraud practiced by Maloney in the real estate transaction.

The case came on for trial and a jury was duly impaneled, and after the introduction of the evidence, argument of counsel, charge of the court and deliberation by the jury, said jury returned a verdict for $609 for the defendant.
