Plaintiff-appellant Gregory McConnell brought claims of employment discrimination in New York state court against his former employers, defendants-appellees ABC-Amega, Inc., Frank Battaglia, and Robert Tharnish (collectively, “ABC”), a private debt-collection corporation and its agents, respectively.
