MEMORANDUM OPINION
BERNARD MARKOVITZ, Bankruptcy Judge.
Plaintiff First Seneca Bank (“Seneca”) has brought this adversary action pursuant to 11 U.S.C. § 523(a), in which it seeks to have a debt owed to it by Debtor/Defendant Steven M. Galizia (“Galizia”) declared nondischargeable.
Seneca maintains that it loaned $48,-000.00 to Galizia in reliance upon a materially false financial statement executed with intent to deceive, in violation of 11 U.S.C. § 523(a)(2)(B).
