I agree with all aspects of the majority opinion. I write specially to note that the majority in Van Hook v. Anderson, 488 F.3d 411 (6th Cir.2007), was concerned that the defendant be the person responsible for reinitiating contact with the police, even if that reinitiation came through a third party.
