DECISION and ORDER

MYRON L. GORDON, District Judge.

This is a diversity action in which the plaintiff, Badger Bearing Company (Badger), seeks damages from the Burroughs Corporation (Burroughs) in connection with the sale of a computer system manufactured by the defendant. The case was tried to the court. At the close of the case, the defendant moved for a directed verdict. I reserved ruling on the motion and invited the parties to submit briefs on the merits.
