OPINION

RALPH M. FREEMAN, District Judge.

This matter is before the court on the motion of defendant Lindberg Hall to suppress evidence seized at the time of his arrest. The defendant, a convicted felon, is charged in a one-count indictment with unlawful possession of a firearm in violation of 18 U.S.C.App. § 1202(a)(1). An evidentiary hearing *440was held on this matter at which time certain relevant facts were established.
