Plaintiff-appellant Jose Enrique De Jesus Adorno, an employee of Condominium Sky Towers III (“Condominium”), brought this diversity action under Article 1802 of the Civil Code of Puerto Rico, P.R. Laws Ann. tit. 31, § 5141 (1991), seeking damages for injuries sustained while attempting to deposit dirt in a trash container located on the Condominium’s property and serviced by defendant-appellee Browning Ferris Industries of Puerto Rico, Inc.
