The questions now reserved to us arise by virtue of a motion of the plaintiff asking for an award of additional interest on a judgment rendered in favor of the plaintiff in a proceeding in eminent domain brought pursuant to General Statutes § 13a-73. The plaintiff appealed to the Superior Court from the assessment of damages in the amount of $415,500 by the defendant for the taking of its property in Bridgeport for the relocation of route 25, Bridgeport-Newtown Road. That sum of money was deposited with the court in accordance with General Statutes § 48-11 and was withdrawn by the plaintiff…
