On January 11, 1972, the petitioning creditors, Powell Electric Manufacturing Company, ITT Landmark Lighting, a Division of ITT American Electric Corporation, and Sturdy Lantern Manufacturing Company, all nonresident corporations, filed an involuntary petition in bankruptcy seeking to have the debtor, Acorn Electric Supply, Inc., adjudicated bankrupt.
