ON WRIT OF CERTIORARI

¶ 1. James McKneely injured his back while working in Warren County in March of 1994. Anderson Tully, his employer, and Liberty Mutual Insurance Company, its workers' compensation insurer, paid temporary total disability benefits for approximately six months. After receiving a report from McKneely's treating physician who stated that McKneely had reached maximum medical recovery and that in the doctor's opinion, the conditions McKneely was still suffering from were not causally related to his workplace injury, Liberty Mutual terminated the workers' compensation benefits.…
