The question to be resolved in this case is whether the district court of Sweetwater County committed reversible error in directing a verdict in favor of the defendants and respondents, Oregon Short Line Railroad Company, a corporation, and Union Pacific Railroad Company, a corporation, hereinafter usually referred to as the “Companies” or as the “defendants,” and against the plaintiff, Joseph H.
