¶ 1 Keith and Kay Holmquist and Frederick Kaseburg (collectively the owners) prevailed against King County (County) and the city of Seattle (City) in this action to quiet title to certain Seattle real property. Both the City and the County appealed, but only the City filed a notice of supersedeas without bond. After we affirmed the trial court judgment, the owners moved the trial court to award damages resulting from the City’s decision to supersede the judgment quieting title.
