WOLLMAN, Chief Justice.

Appellant was charged with manslaughter in the first degree and was found guilty by a jury of second-degree manslaughter. He appeals from the judgment and sentence entered on the jury verdict.* We affirm.

On the night of July 9 and the early morning of July 10, 1978, the parties and witnesses to this incident had been drinking at the Portside Inn outside Chamberlain. All stayed until closing.
