Midway between the cities of Wewoka and Holdenville is a small community known as Jackson’s Corner. There the paved highway leading west from Hold-enville joins the paved north and south highway between Wewoka and Sasakwa. In the northeast quadrant of the intersection, and some distance from the actual intersection, is a long sweeping curve of the roadway, so that persons traveling between We-woka and Holdenville may accomplish the 90 degree change of direction without making a square turn.
