Plaintiff Douglas Dobson appeals from those parts of the judgment of the United States District Court for the District of Connecticut (Arterton, J.) that denied his motion for class certification and granted summary judgment to defendant Hartford Life & Accident Insurance Company (“Hartford”). Dobson, who received payments of disability benefits after the date he alleges they were due to be paid, sued (for himself and on behalf of similarly situated persons) for interest on the overdue payments.
