MEMORANDUM OPINION

This patent infringement suit involves four patents, three of which the plaintiff asserts against the defendant and the fourth which the counterclaiming defendant asserts against the plaintiff. The motion at bar concerns the patent asserted in the counterclaim, namely U.S. Patent No. 4,931,042 (the “042 patent”). Specifically, the matter before the Court is defendant’s motion, pursuant to 35 U.S.C. § 256, to correct the inventorship of the 042 patent by adding the name of a previously omitted third inventor.
