This appeal has been submitted upon a stipulated statement of facts from which we discerned the following: on September 2,1968, or in the early morning of September 3, 1968, Samual Henry Price, Jr. (plaintiff), incurred personal injuries, including the loss of an arm in an automobile accident while he was riding in an automobile driven by one Gale Wessels, on South Morris Avenue, south of its intersection with U.S. Route 66 in Bloomington Township, McLean County, Illinois.
