Plaintiff, William Wallace McCallum, who is licensed to practice law in this State, instituted this suit in the superior court of Cook county against the defendant, the Baltimore and Ohio Railroad Company, to recover an amount he claims lost by reason of the defendant’s failure to recognize and protect his lien for attorney’s fees in a claim which defendant settled with plaintiff’s client, Lucy Burton, administratrix of the estate of Harvey Burton, deceased.
