The appellant was convicted in a county court of a felony on an indictment that had been transferred to it by the circuit court. Section 704, Code of 1930, grants appeals from judgments of a county court only to the circuit court but it was amended by Chapter 256, Laws of 1932, by providing: “that when appeals are taken in felony cases which have been transferred from circuit court to the county court for trial, and have been there tried, such appeals from the judgment of the county court shall be taken direct to the Supreme Court of the State of…
