In this interlocutory appeal, a former agent of the Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation (DCI) challenges the district court’s dismissal of his claim for wrongful discharge in violation of public policy. The agent’s application for leave to appeal was filed more than thirty days after the district court’s order butwithin thirty days of the court’s denial of the plaintiffs motion to amend findings arid conclusions under Iowa Rule of Civil Procedure 1.904(2). The defendants urge that the appeal is untimely and should be dismissed.
