Defendant appeals by leave granted from an order of the circuit court denying defendant’s motion for summary judgment in favor of defendant on plaintiffs defamation action. We affirm.
Plaintiff was an elementary school principal in the Kaleva-Norman-Dickson School District, of which defendant is the Superintendent of Schools. Plaintiff claims that defendant libeled him in two letters and a "bill of particulars,” written by defendant in March and April of 1983 and sent to the school board, which negatively evaluated plaintiffs performance as principal.
