BURNS, District Judge.

Libelant seeks to recover damages from the steamship Olga S for the loss of 34 mahogany logs delivered to the steamer at Frontera, Mexico, for New Orleans, under a contract of affreightment. By the terms of the contract the logs were to be ready for delivery promptly on the arrival of the steamer at Frontera, the logs to be delivered alongside steamer and in reach of ship’s taekle in the water, free of expense to the steamer, “as fast a? steamer can receive, Sundays and legal holidays excepted.” This stipulation was repeated in a postscript reading: “Cargo to be…
